On Friday, Salman Rushdie was attacked and injured in the neck as he was on the brink of providing a lecture in the western big apple.
State police aforesaid he's alive and still undergoing surgery.
There could be a chronology of everything that followed the ruling issued by religious leader Ruhollah Khomeini in Persia within which he involved his death following the publication of Rushdie's 1988 novel, The Satanic Verses, which Khomeini thought of blasphemy against Islam.
